Are you trying to keep track of your hours for your LMFT or LCSW licensure?
I had one of the most frustrating experiences trying to track my hours on complicated Excel spreadsheets that I had to create from scratch. I even had the sheet coded with complex auto-adding, and averaging equations!
And despite being smart and detail-oriented, I still had my application bounced back telling me that I had overlooked an obscure maximum!
TrackYourHours was developed several years ago by an awesome MFT intern who saw a need. When myself, and all of my licensed colleagues heard about it, we all said the same thing: Where was that while I was counting hours?
This program covers MFT Interns (MFTI) and Associate Clnical Social Workers (ACSW) who are counting hours for applying for California Licensure as Marriage and Family Therapists or Licesed Clinical Social Workers.
The price is low, I don't get any kickback for referring you- it is just an awesome program. Check it out for free for 30 days, or with this link- you can get 3 months free.
Are you outside of California and struggling with tracking your hours to get licensed? Contact TrackYourHours and let them know you want them to expand to your state!
By the way, one of the best ways to get through the licensure process more quickly is to be aware and present in the process. Tracking hours weekly may seem like overkill, but it allows you to make sure things keep on track so you don't have any surprises!
Here are a few more tips:
TrackYourHours prints things out directly onto BBS forms. Get your Experience Verification Forms signed off as a job finishes. Or, consider doing an annual review with your clinical supervisors and get them signed off each year! Remember, if something happens and you haven't properly documented the hours, you may have a rude awakening!
