Six questions to determine if it is time to jump the MFT ship.

Yes, the economy is bad.  Yes, things have changed for aspiring MFTs in the last several years. Is it time to for you to jump ship?

Read on to answer some key questions that will help you decide if becoming a successful MFT is still in your future.

Economic Downturn

This downturn in the economy does not mean that people cannot be successful. In fact, my business continues to grow and I have an increased income every month. In addition, I turn client's away frequently do to lack of slots and have hired another licensed person in response.

So, here are the questions to ask yourself to determine whether you need to jump ship and find another profession:

  • Am I passionate about this work? If I am not passionate, then why am I here?

  • Am I excited about the prospect of being successful?

  • Can I connect with what is special and exceptional about me and am I willing to convey that to others?

  • Am I optimistic about the future and do I believe that good things can happen?

  • Am I willing to do the work that it will take to position myself to be ready for the right job and/or the right business opportunity?

  • Can I put the effort in to goals when I don't get an immediate result?

  • If you answered no to 2 or more of these questions, this may not be the right field for you, and it may be time to jump ship! If you answered yes to 4 or more of these questions, then it is time to develop a plan for success!

There are people all around you that are successful, even in a lean economy. Many of those peoples are even afraid to tell others of their success! There is so much pessimism and almost a sense of judgment out there for people who are successful. Don't get sucked in by the negativity and do something today to start positioning yourself for the success that you want.

I will be launching a new coaching series "Getting Paid in a Lean Economy." The entire focus is on learning about your passions, and learning how to position yourself to get (or make) the right job!

Interested in learning more? I really don't want to bug people who aren't excited and passionate about the work! Sign up here if you want me to send you free videos, and let you know about the launch of this low-cost group.
